As part of the QUT Astrophysics Research Group’s outreach efforts, research students Carmen, Emma, Vanessa, and Zane were delighted to support Bray Park State High School’s Astronomy Night.
Alongside presentations from NASA and the Australian Space Agency, the team showcased QUT’s research on supermassive black holes, galaxy evolution, and the broader cosmos. Through interactive displays and some well-earned space-themed treats, students and families engaged enthusiastically with the science behind the stars.
