Dr Rossana Ruggeri and three students from the QUT Astrophysics Research Group participated in Balmoral State High School’s International Women’s Day event. As part of the “Women at Work” Lunch-Box Series, Rossana delivered a presentation on her career in astrophysics, sharing insights into her research journey and experiences in STEM.
The event featured a diverse lineup of speakers from various industries, offering students valuable career inspiration. Our students, Emma White, Emily O’Neill, and Lady Gamboa, engaged with attendees, discussing their research and encouraging young women to consider STEM pathways.
We are proud to support diversity in science and inspire the next generation of researchers.
