QUT’s recent student VRES presentations highlighted cutting-edge research across various disciplines, from astrophysics to materials engineering. Congratulations to QUT Astrophysics Research student Kelsey Hargraves for receiving the ‘Best Presentation’ award for her research on the radio properties of WISE-selected AGNs in ASKAP-EMU!
Her work explored the relationship between mid-infrared and radio-loud AGNs, using data from the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) and NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE). Well done to Kelsey for this outstanding achievement in advancing AGN research!
