
QUT Astrophysics student Mitchell Hooymans received the Australian Institute of Physics (Queensland Branch) Prize for Most Outstanding Graduating Student in a Queensland Physics Major.
Mitchell completed his undergraduate degree at QUT and is currently completing Honours research within the QUT Astrophysics Research Group, focusing on the impact of supermassive black holes on galaxy evolution.
The award celebrates exceptional performance in physics and highlights the strength of emerging researchers at QUT. Congratulations again to Mitchell on this well-deserved achievement.
