Board Gender and Age Diversity and Organisational Performance
The project aimed at investigating the impact of board gender and age diversity on organisational productivity and financial performance.
The inconsistent findings of past board diversity research demanded further investigation of the nature of the relationship between diversity and organisational performance. This research analysed data on board age and gender diversity in 288 large for-profit organisations listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. The findings provided additional evidence on the business case for board gender diversity and refined the business case for board age diversity.
