Dr Rami Aldwikat

Dr Rami Aldwikat is an experienced perioperative nurse with a background in clinical education and research. He has worked over 15 years in both public and private health sectors across Victoria and New South Wales in Australia with clinical background focused on trauma and perioperative nursing. Dr Aldwikat completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Deakin University focusing on validating screening tools for detecting delirium postoperatively in older people. His research interests focus on cognition, delirium and care of older adults. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences on this topic.
