
Visiting Period: 3 February – 28 February 2025 Clara Sophie Schultz is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Communication at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. She previously earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science at Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel, building a strong foundation in media research, political science, and communication. Clara has worked as a research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans Bredow Institute and the Institute for Communication Science at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, where she contributed to several projects on digital media and its relationship to individual political attitudes. She applies her expertise in quantitative data analysis (Stata, R, Python) and qualitative research methods (MAXQDA) to investigate contemporary issues in political communication. Fluent in German and English, Clara combines analytical rigor with a deep commitment to understanding the evolving media and political landscape.
