Alberto N. García is an Associate Professor of Film and Television Studies at the School of Communication, Universidad de Navarra in Spain. He has served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Queensland in Australia and the University of Stirling in the United Kingdom, as well as a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. His work has been published in journals such as Continuum, International Journal of Communication, New Review of Film and Television Studies, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, and Horror Studies. He has edited Emotions in Contemporary TV Series (Palgrave, 2016). He is a member of the research group “Bonds, Creativity, and Culture,” and he is currently researching the relationship between screen studies, universal values and the politics of representation.
