Henri Mütschele has been a research associate at the Institute for Social Sciences, Department ofCommunication and Media Science at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf since April 2021. Additionally, since October 2023,he has beenworkingas a research associate in the research program on Societal Division through Digital Mediaat the interdisciplinary research institute Center for Advanced Internet Studies in Bochum. His PhD project focuses on the persuasive functions of climate movements’ public communication within the theoretical context of deliberation and polarization. He has a master’s degree in political theory from University College London anda master’s degree in general rhetoric from the University of Tübingen.
