PhD (Queensland University of Technology), Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) (Queensland University of Technology) Dr. Madison Klarkowski is a Games User Researcher at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She focuses on the player experience of videogames, the translational power of esports, games for social connectedness, and identifying physiological markers of experiential phenomena in digital play. To this end, she draws from a wealth of professional and personal experience in the realm of videogame communities, performance, and development. She is a research fellow with the Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child, in which she is engaged in research efforts to promote a positive digital future for Australian children.
