Leo is passionate about integrating research into teaching. His vision is to form design paradigms where the design disciplines drive the changes required to respond to the world's challenges. This vision is based on his education, teaching, research, and industry experiences. He promotes strengthening students' design culture and professional profiles to achieve this vision. This approach encourages students to consider their work beyond the university and seek industry engagement opportunities to increase students' exposure to professional forums. Success in this area can strengthen students' professional profiles and improve the school and university's reputation.
