Senior Research Assistant

Vanissa completed her PhD in Cell and Molecular Biosciences (Microbiology) and Bachelor of Nursing (Graduate Entry) at QUT. Vanissa has been involved in a variety of research projects ranging from laboratory basic science to health and nursing research. Vanissa, in her current role as a Senior Research Assistant, is a member of the evaluation team of the ELDAC Linkages program, supporting the delivery of quality data to improve end of life care for older Australians. Vanissa is also involved in several cancer survivorship research at the CPCOC, mainly in clinical interventional trials aiming to reduce symptoms of chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) in cancer survivors. She has published peer-reviewed papers in the fields of biomedical and health research.
