Dr. Cynthia Lu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), working with Professor Wenbiao Hu in the Ecosystem Change and Population Health Research Group at the School of Public Health and Social Work. She received her PhD in 2017 from The University of Sydney (UniSyd), where she specialized in infectious diseases epidemiology, focusing on surveillance data analysis and modelling. Dr. Lu also holds a Master of Biostatistics from UniSyd, contributing her expertise to projects that bridge epidemiology and biostatistics to enhance public health responses and outcomes.
