Great to see CIIC @QUTImmunology Dr Samantha Dando, group leader of the Neuroimmunology and Infection team, awarded a QUT Faculty of Health EMCR Enabler Grant 2021. Many here at the QUT Centre for Immunology and Infection Control are excited about Sam’s research studying brain macrophages and their immune responses of human to parasites; which is bringing new knowledge on infection-associated neurodegeneration.
