An online masterclass facilitated by esteemed pitching coach, Peter Browne.
We invited our members to learn what it takes to successfully pitch a product or idea to prospective partners and investors. The event was an excellent professional development opportunity, held in an informal, supportive workshop setting. In this session, Peter guided our participants through the following considerations to help develop a successful pitch:
- the strength of the science supporting an idea
- any issues with the ownership of underlying intellectual property
- unmet patient needs, and the market being addressed
- the amount of funds sought and how the funds will be used
- the potential time to commersialisation and expected returns
- presentation content, style and delivery.
