Join us for the Creative Placemaking for Social Impact virtual symposium

2020 has been a year like no other, and the Creative Placemaking for Social Impact research group invites you to gather with us, in person and virtually, to share ideas, experiences and hope. The COVID 19 pandemic has exposed a range of deficits in our current approaches to community connection and social wellbeing, and also presents opportunities to re-imagine the ways we share cultural experiences between communities and localities, and how we creatively shape our shared futures.

The aim of the symposium and the vision of the CPfSI research group is to examine the crucial role of arts, culture and place-based creativity in community recovery and resilience. Its purpose is to bring together researchers and practitioners from Creative Practice, Design, Communication and Health to collaborate on interdisciplinary research to co-create our shared futures.
