Dr Kevin Witzenberger

Visiting Research Fellow

Kevin Witzenberger was a research fellow at QUT’s GenAI Lab before becoming an official visitor.  He is an affiliate investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society. His research background is grounded in science and technology studies and media theory. In the GenAI Lab Kevin’s research focuses on the risks and opportunities of generative AI and the skills and competencies required by humans and machines to address emerging social and cultural challenges.

Kevin received his PhD from the University of New South Wales in 2023 where he investigated the impact of automation and AI on education governance.
