An 18 month research journey starting in early 2016 and concluding in June 2017, saw one motivated group of postgraduate optometry students investigate the effect of light theraphy on choridial thickness. The student group comprised of 5 members; Rebekah Bormann, Seentinie Hong, Chai-Hoon Lo, Rhiannon Richer and Atif Syed used re-timer light theraphy glasses in their research. All measurements of choridial thickness changes were conducted in the Contact Lens and Visual Optics Laboratory.

The student group were mentored by Associate Professor Scott Read and Dr Emily Pieterse from the CLVOL Team, and presented their research findings at an Optometry and Vision Science student project presentation seminar on Friday, 2 June 2017.

The student group placed 2nd! – Well done to all student group members!
