The QUT Contact lens and Visual Optics Laboratory was well-represented in Baltimore in early May, with 5 members from the lab attending the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) 2017 Annual Meeting. The 2017 ARVO Meeting was held from 7 May to 11 May 2017.

CLVOL Members attending ARVO were Michael Collins, Brett Davis, Sekar Ulaganathan, Samaneh Delshad and Pryntha Rajasingam. ARVO is the largest international eye and vision research conference at which CLVOL members were able to witness first-hand new innovative and cutting-edge vision research, as well as present their own recent research findings and have the opportunity to meet with fellow scientists and like-minded researchers.

The 2017 ARVO Meeting will most certainly be an international vision research conference that will be remembered by all who attended.
