Congratulations to CLVOL’s Rohan Hughes who is the proud recipient of the 2018 Young Optometrist of the Year Award. Rohan was presented with his award by Melinda Toomey (President, of Optometry Qld and NT) on 17 November 2018, in Brisbane. This award is presented annually to an optometrist who has demonstrated unwavering enthusiasm, commitment, representation and dedication to the optometry profession. Rohan is currently completing his PhD studies at the Queensland University of Technology, under the supervision of Associate Professor Stephen Vincent, Professor Michael Collins and Associate Professor Scott Read.
