Amy has her sights set high on being a future leader in Optometry.

Congratulations to CLVOL Research Assistant, Amy Johnson, who was recently chosen as a member of the 2019 Optometry Australia Student Leadership Program. In 2019, Amy will be entering her 5^th and final year of her optometry studies at the Qld University of Technology. Amy’s genuine compassion for others, diligence, organisational abilities and high academic achievements, were characteristics highly valued by Optometry Australia and reasons she was chosen to be member of the 2019 student leadership group.

In January 2019, Amy will travel to Melbourne, where she will be afforded with the opportunity to meet other like-minded optometry students from various tertiary institutions across Australia, as well as network with key sector leaders from the optometry profession. Well Done, Amy!
