Dr. Wenqing (Grace) Gao is currently working with Dr. Adi Idris on developing novel siRNA therapeutic approaches for respiratory diseases. Wenqing Gao completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology from Jiangnan University in 2017, where her research elucidated the role of IRES-mediated mRNA translation in cancer cells.
Following her Ph.D., she conducted postdoctoral research at Fudan University, where her work focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of programmed cell death and its implications in inflammation-driven diseases, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. Her current research interests include RNA-based therapeutics and the development of brain-targeting delivery systems.
