Dr Tharushi de Silva completed her PhD in Immunology from the School of Biomedical Sciences, QUT in 2022. Her research focussed on the Dynamics of regulatory T cells in lung transplant recipients in collaboration with the Queensland Lung Transplant Service Research Laboratory. Before joining QUT, she graduated with First Class Honours in Immunology and Integrative Molecular Biology, from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2017.
Tharushi is currently working with the Kenna Group at the Centre of Immunology and Infection Control, looking at the inflammatory T cell landscape in ankylosing spondylitis.
