
Renee is currently an PhD student with Professor Tony Kenna in the Experimental Rheumatology Research Group at CIIC. She is I am studying Systemic Sclerosis (Scleroderma) and looking at the effect environmental triggers such as silica exposure have on the immune function of Scleroderma patients. Renee previously completed an honours project with CIIC looking at CD39+ regulatory T cells in Ankylosing Spondylitis and has an interest in immunology and autoimmune diseases, having completed her undergraduate degree majoring in infection and immunity.
