Find Jahirul Islam on
Jahirul is currently pursuing a PhD in the Ecosystem Change and Population Health (ECAPH) research group at QUT under the supervision of Professor Wenbiao Hu and Associate Professor Francesca D Frentiu. He is from Bangladesh & previously graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi, China in Epidemiology and Health Statistics (MSc) in 2021. Jahirul’s Ph.D. project aims at the long-term prediction of dengue based on climate change scenarios. For conducting this research, Jahirul received the prestigious Queensland University of Technology – Post-graduate Research Award (QUTPRA) in 2023.
