
Xiaohan previously graduated from Guangdong Medical University in China with a Bachelor of Science (Applied Biostatistics) in 2017 and a Master of Applied Statistics from Macquarie University in 2019. His PhD project investigated the weather variability and socioenvironmental factors in seasonal influenza transmission.
Xiaohan Si is a PhD candidate within the Ecosystem Change and Population Health Research group at QUT’s Centre for Immunology and Infection Control. Under the primary supervision of Professor Wenbiao Hu and Distinguished Professor Kerrie Mengersen, he is completing a PhD project that investigates the effect of weather variability and socioenvironmental factors on seasonal influenza transmission and spatiotemporal models for seasonal influenza activity prediction and early warning.
