Hannah is currently undertaking a PhD in the Ecosystem Change and Population Health (ECAPH) research group at QUT under the supervision of Professor Wenbiao Hu and Adjunct Professor Hilary Bambrick. Hannah previously graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Microbiology) in 2012 and a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology and Research Methods) in 2021 completing a research project dissertation investigating environmental factors contributing to COVID-19 transmission in Australia.
Hannah’s PhD project aims to further investigate socio-environmental factors contributing to COVID-19 transmission using spatiotemporal modelling for improving early warning and surveillance for future outbreaks. For this research, Hannah was awarded an Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship.
