
Hon Tim Nicholls MP (Minister for Health and Ambulance Services), hosted by Professor Margaret Sheil AO, Vice-Chancellor QUT, has visited CBT.
QUT research contributes to accelerating Queensland’s Biomedical ecosystems. These visits and conversations ensure that we are aligned with government priorities, including health workforce development, advanced manufacturing, Brisbane 2032 preparation, and economic diversification.
The QUT Centre for Biomedical Technologies was represented by A/Prof Indira Prasadam, Deputy Centre Director, Dr Norbert Kienzle, Centre Development Manager, and Centre Director, Prof Shaun Gregory.

The guests were guided through the ARC Training Centre for M3D Innovation and the Max Planck Queensland Centre at the Kelvin Grove Campus by Distinguished Prof Dietmar W. Hutmacher, Dr Marie-Luise Wille and Dr Angus Weekes.

Prof Mia Woodruff, Dr Ted Pickering, Ollie Nagle and Alex Terrill also shared the work at the QUT Biofabrication & Tissue Morphology Group.
