Aniket Kumar is a PhD student at the QUT-Sealy Centre for Biomechanics and Sleep Research, where he focuses on exploring the “Efforts to roll-over during sleep, and its impact on sleep quality” under the supervision of Assoc. Professor Paige Little. Aniket has a strong foundation in Biodesign Innovation, having completed the prestigious CLiMB fellowship, sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research at the Centre for Healthcare Entrepreneurship, IIT Hyderabad.
With extensive research experience in Spine Rehabilitation and Neuroscience, Aniket has contributed to projects funded by the University of British Columbia, Canada, under the Indo-Canadian Impact initiative at the Indian Spinal Injuries Center, as well as at IIT Delhi, India. His innovative work has been recognized with an “Excellence Award” awarded by the Honourable President of India in 2018.
Aniket’s academic contributions include a few reputed publications and book chapters. His current research interests lie in identifying and measuring physiological parameters that influence sleep roll-overs and examining their potential correlations with various factors affecting the sleep cycle.
