Congratulations Dr Rena Cruz on being awarded her PhD!
Rena has been part of the BTM team since 2016 when she joined as an Advance Queensland PhD student working on our exciting FutureHear project to 3D print ear replacements for children with microtia.
Not only has Rena been the face of Medical Engineering research at QUT for several years, but she has also co-authored 8 publications from her PhD work (and counting!). She has been awarded several conference awards including Runner Up Best Oral Presentation at IHBI Inspires.
We’re so proud of Rena on completing her PhD studies and wish her all the best for the future!
