2020/21 Vacation Research Experience Scheme students showcase their research

Congratulations to our five brilliant Vacation Research Experience Scheme (VRES) students for the Summer 2020/21 program who completed their projects today.

Each student presented their 10 week research projects in a poster presentation to the wider QUT Biomedical Engineering research community. BTM VRES student Gemma Price, who has been supervised by Prof Mia Woodruff and PhD student Renee Nightingale, was awarded the overall Best Poster Award in the Biomedical Engineering category – an amazing achievement!

The BTM wishes our students all the best for their future studies and is excited to have several students continuing in the group for their final-year engineering projects this year.
