
On Friday 20th July, Professor Mia Woodruff was awarded a Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence at the annual ceremony held at QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence are prestigious university awards conferred to individuals or teams in recognition of sustained exceptional performance leading to outstanding achievement in work and activities that align with the university’s vision, strategic goals and Real World Capabilities over a period of 3 years.
Mia was nominated in the categories of Research, Learning and Teaching, Partnerships and Engagement and Leadership, noting her outstanding work in establishing the Herston Biofabrication Institute initiative and contributions to engagement and STEM advocacy.
