Representing Prof Mia Woodruff and BTM Group, Naomi Paxton, Dr Sean Powell and Mathilde Desselle attended the annual IHBI Gala Dinner, showcasing IHBI’s research to the wider community. The event featured a keynote address by the Hon Peter Beattie AC and ‘pop up’ talks by a number of IHBI researchers.
Dr Sean Powell addressed a small audience at a pre-dinner event held at The Cube, and spoke about the impact of biofabrication as a disruptive technology in medicine, as well as the Herston Biofabrication Institute project in collaboration with Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
