The key objectives of this project were to holistically contrast the filtration performance of a range of current and new filters specifically designed for underground engines with wet scrubbers, learn more about the laboratory measurement of ultra-fine particles in a wet exhaust stream using the latest EURO5/6 measurements technology, and to investigate how these techniques might eventually be translated to field measurements.
