Traceable, circular supply chain
Full Circle Fibres (FCF) design fibres and fabrics whose journeys are traceable from farm to wardrobe, collaborating with businesses at all stages of the supply chain to build a strong circular economy.
Core Business
Full Circle Fibres exists so that customers can purchase yarns and textiles with full knowledge of the sources at each stage of the supply chain. Cottons are traceable back to Australian Super Cotton, a fibre from Queensland that uses significantly less water than other cottons.
Collaborative Strategies
FCF promotes a systems wide approach to improving the textile industry, seeking opportunities to partner with local growers, spinners (currently spinning is done in the United Kingdom), knitters, weavers and dyers.
FCF are currently leading an industry collaboration with Deakin University and local fibre producers including Geelong Textiles; Ridgehaven, NSW (wool grower); and Australian Super Cotton, QLD (cotton grower). The project, Mud to Marle, funded by Country Road, will focus on turning lower value wool fibre into a high value product by combining it with premium cotton. The long-term aim of the project is to grow on-shore manufacturing capabilities and circular production systems within Australia. Every stage of the process is being engineered systemically to be as low impact as possible using current technology.
