TextileR is always looking for promising PhD candidates to undertake projects to conduct world-leading research that aligns with our mission of solving the critical sustainability issues faced by the textile and fashion industries globally. Applicants with excellent academic track records or equivalent professional research experience may be eligible for competitive PhD scholarships in QUT’s Annual Scholarship Round to undertake study with us.

Prior to contacting QUT, we encourage you to take the following steps:
- Ensure you meet the Entry Requirements

Identify supervisor/s. All higher-degree research candidates require at least two supervisors; before you submit your formal application, you need to actively search for potential supervisors in your chosen field.

Submit an enquiry at the CIESJ Supervision Enquiry online form (available at this link: https://qsurvey.qut.edu.au/jfe/form/SV_9YOaEiqV9hhsPvU)To complete the form you will need

a clear plan for your research project in order to address the questions in the form

an up to date curriculum vitae (CV), including recent IELTS or equivalent score for international applicants

a writing sample (e.g. copy of an article, essay, thesis you have written)
