The RAASI team are delighted to announce we are the recipients of the Australian Council of University Art and Design Schools (ACUADS) 2022 Excellence in Research Award. These awards recognise research of national significance.
We share this acknowledgement with our project partners, the Office of the Arts (Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications), Regional Arts Australia, Regional Australia Institute, The Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD) in central western Queensland, Red Ridge (Interior Queensland) Ltd., Burnie City Council, and Performing Arts Connections Australia (PACA).
Our Project sites are on Iningai, Malintji, Kuunkari and Bidjara lands in central western Queensland, and palawa country in lutruwita, northwest Tasmania.
