The sensor team aims to develop the knowledge and foundations of a new generation of sensor design that can translate to creating wearable sensors that detect and monitor the physiological and biological markers of stress. This foundation will ultimately underpin and integrate discoveries made by the biomarkers, stress trials, and data science teams into the design of a flexible wearable (fit-and-forget) body-worn device. The wearable sensor will be is easy to use, and will support accurate reading of biomarkers to provide an analytical tool for strategic training and task selection approaches in Defence activities.
