Aspects of Tax Administration and Economic Development
This invitation interdisciplinary conference explores challenges in the areas of tax administration and economic development in new environments of a digital economy and new pressures resulting from a multilateral treaty and OECD initiatives in areas of base erosion and transfer pricing. Registration charges for invited participants will be covered by the conference sponsors, but all travel and costs of meals and accommodation will be the responsibility of conference participants. The parallel subjects of tax administration and economic development will cover all aspects of the new legal, administrative and economic issues faced by policy makers and administrators as they work to modernise income tax and VAT systems in light of a rapidly shifting global economy and to adjust economic development programs to accommodate those changes.
