The Board of Taxation is reviewing ways to reduce red tape in the tax system and is currently consulting a wide range of stakeholders. Professor Kerrie Sadiq and Dr Ashesha Weerasinghe made a submission titled “Tax Expenditure Management and Compliance Burden Reduction,” which Professor Sadiq presented by invitation on 21st November 2025 at the Board’s virtual consultation session.
