Kaveendra Maduwantha earned his B.Sc. in Applied Physics (Second Class Upper) from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2018 and completed an MPhil in Physical and Natural Sciences in 2023, focusing on Room Temperature Phosphorescence. Currently a PhD student at Queensland University of Technology, Kaveendra conducts research on 2D materials and heterostructures under the supervision of Distinguished Prof. Dmitri Golberg and Dr. Konstantin Faershteyn, exploring their potential in nanoelectronics and memory devices.
