Dasun Guruge obtained his Bachelor of Science Honors degree, specializing in Physics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka in 2022. Presently, he is pursuing his doctorate at the Queensland University of Technology as a member of the research group led by Australian laureate fellow, Distinguished Prof. Dmitri Golberg. Dasun‘s research project revolves around the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials and 2D heterostructures to use them in possible applications in nanoelectronics and memory devices.
