Sanju completed his Bachelor of Science Honors degree, specializing in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2023. Presently, he is pursuing his doctorate at the Queensland University of Technology as a member of the research group led by Australian laureate fellow, Distinguished Prof. Dmitri Golberg. Sanjuâs research project focuses on the synthesis and characterization of 2D Transition Metal Dichalcogenides and their heterostructures to use them in possible applications such as optoelectronics and catalysis applications.
