Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Metro South Hospital and Health Services.
Ward 2A, the adolescent inpatient ward at Logan Hospital provides care to adolescents who have experienced a crisis. The workload can be high. Within this dynamic environment meeting the needs of adolescents with acute mental health challenges can be demanding on staff personally and professionally.
This project focused on key questions such as what sustains staff personally and what would they like to see happen to enhance the team’s wellbeing.
