Dr Peter Jones Dr. Peter Jones is Associate Professor, Faculty of Design, OCAD University, Toronto, Canada and Managing Partner of the strategic design firm Redesign Network. His Rosenfeld book Design for Care: Innovating Healthcare Experience was the first book to present a comprehensive service design approach to healthcare, and to address the spectrum of design in health and healthcare. A founder of the Systemic Design Association, Peter has developed toolkits for and leads systemic design approaches to research and design science in healthcare, media, governance, social and policy design. His work and ideas can be found at http://designdialogues.com.

Melbourne Design Week 2021: On March 31, HEAL team members Professor Evonne Miller and Professor Lisa Scharoun – with colleagues Prof Daphne Flynn  and Dr Nyein Aung from Monash’s Design Health Collab (https://www.monash.edu/mada/research/health-collab) ran a co-design event bringing designers and doctors together to reimagine healthcare. As part of Melbourne Design Week 2021, “ReFrame: ReEnvisioning Healthcare” reflected on the challenges and opportunities of engaging with co-design practice and design thinking techniques to re-envision new and innovative approaches to challenges in hospitals in Brisbane and Melbourne.
