Avalon is a Senior Research Assistant at QUT with over a decade of experience as a specialist cancer nurse across clinical and research settings. She has held roles in pharmaceutical clinical trials, cancer and survivorship research, and health Quality and Safety, with experience in both Queensland and Tasmania. Her work has involved coordinating multi-site studies, managing research portfolios, and contributing to statewide quality improvement initiatives. Avalon brings a compassionate, solutions-focused approach to her work and holds a Master of Advanced Practice Nursing (Cancer Stream) from QUT.
