Dr Jeremy Kerr is a senior lecturer in the QUT School of Design and the lead investigator for the CCNR Co-Design Framework and Toolkit project. Jeremy’s research explores new design frameworks and methods to advance community capacity building and self-advocacy. His research projects include design-led initiatives in the areas of mental health & well-being, informal & formal education, children’s health & nutrition, intercultural communication and the disability sector. A core aspect of his work is the application of co-design approaches to foster collaboration and to include the authentic voice and creative input of stakeholders in design solutions.

Jeremy is a chief investigator for the QUT Design Lab and a member of the Bravehearts Executive Research Advisory Panel. Prior to working with CCNR, he collaborated on projects with CARE International, Red Cross, Education Queensland, Autism CRC and the INAS Global Games, amongst other organisations.
