
Gordon Mander is a PhD Candidate and Clinical Fellow in the School of Clinical Sciences. Gordon studied a Bachelor of Medical Imaging at QUT and has since completed a Masters in CT (MHthSc) though University of Sydney and a Masters by Research (MClinSc) through JBI at the University of Adelaide. He is currently a project officer with the University of Queensland department of rural health (SQRH), having been a clinical radiographer specialising in CT in metropolitan and regional Queensland for over 20 years. Gordon has a continuing interest in the professional experience of imaging professionals and healthcare professionals. The purpose of his research is to explore radiographers, sonographers and imaging technologists’ involvement with medicines in their current practice and better understand where barriers exist to enhancing their scope of practice and better assisting the goal of evidence-based and patient centred care.
