Modelling osteocyte control networks in bone mechanobiology

Adel Mehrpooya is currently undertaking doctoral studies at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), focusing on tissue and biomedical engineering, specifically emphasizing the development of mathematical models related to signal propagation, with applications in bone tissue modeling and remodeling processes. His academic interests extend to biological modeling, artificial intelligence, data mining, uncertainty quantification, and dynamical systems.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2006, followed by a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics (Geometry) from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman in 2010. Since 2010, Adel has held the position of a researcher at the Mahani Mathematical Research Center (MMRC), Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, actively contributing to various pure and applied research projects. Notably, from 2019 onward, he has engaged in collaborative research endeavors between MMRC and the Department of Computer Engineering at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.
