Brisbane Mental Health Research Conference

When: Thursday August 21, 2025 — 9:00-17:00
Where: QUT Kelvin Grove, E-Block Level 5

The Brisbane Mental Health Research Conference is a scientific conference organised in Brisbane for researchers working in any fields related to mental health: applied, fundamental or translational, from the level of genomics and animal models to clinical to public health – all are welcome.

It is co-hosted by:
  • the School of Psychology (University of Queensland)
  • the Griffith Centre for Mental Health (Griffith University School of Applied Psychology), and
  • the Research Academy for Cognition, Brain and Behaviour (Queensland University of Technology School of Psychology and Counselling)
This year, the conference will be organised at QUT Kelvin Grove, on Thursday August 21, 2025. It is a one-day, all-day program.

We cordially invite all researchers to attend and present their work, especially early career researchers (ECRs), including Honours students, PhD students, and postdocs.

Registration is free but required to estimate numbers for catering purposes (morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided, courtesy of the CBB Academy).
Please use this form to register your attendance, and (if necessary) to submit your abstract.
All abstracts will be considered for oral presentations (talks). There will not be any posters, and talk duration will depend on the number of submissions and will be announced later.
Important: Registration and abstract submission is now open here. Registration will close on Friday, July 11, 2025.
